EXTERIOR DESIGN
XE's form has been rigorously optimised for aerodynamic efficiency and stability. It cuts through the air – reducing fuel consumption and lowering emissions. Every element exploits the exterior's maximum aerodynamic potential while preserving XE's stunning proportions.
ADVANCED AERODYNAMICS
Aerodynamic performance is a key function of XE's body design and supports an impressive drag coefficient as low as Cd 0.27. Even the race car-inspired underbody protection and diffuser is designed to make XE as efficient, economical and refined as possible.
FRONT
The sculpted bonnet sweeps back from distinctive 'J' blade headlights - channelling air over and around the body and minimising air resistance. XE is crouching, ready to pounce.
SIDE
Aerodynamically honed to sweep air seamlessly rearwards to the tail, XE's rising waistline gives it a sense of dynamism, even when stationary. Chrome side vents, stamped with the Jaguar name, deliberately allude to F-TYPE – and there's even the tell-tale Jaguar loop that arcs around the side windows.
REAR
One glance at those signature haunches and you know it could only be a Jaguar - XE's deliberately cropped rear has a short overhang, underscoring the car's performance credentials and enhancing airflow.
POWERED GESTURE BOOT LID
Powered Gesture Boot Lid* enables the driver to operate the boot lid from the kerbside, without needing to physically touch either the vehicle or the key fob. Simply gently present your foot under one of the car's rear corners and the boot lid opens or closes.

CHROME SIDE VENTS
Chrome framed, Jaguar embossed, mesh side vents emphasise XE's sporting character.
CHROME SIDE ARC
Providing visual unity to the cabin, the side window glass is framed with a continuous chrome feature.
REAR HAUNCHES
One glance at XE's taut rear haunches, and perfectly proportioned overhang – and you know that it could only be a Jaguar. Only Jaguar, who have been at the forefront of aluminium car construction for more than a decade, has the technology and expertise to create those sharp creases.
ICONIC TAIL LIGHTS
Taking its design cues from F-TYPE, XE's iconic tail lights feature a distinctive roundel intersected by a horizontal line.

LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINIUM ARCHITECTURE
Saving weight without compromising durability, XE's immensely strong Lightweight Aluminium Architecture helps achieve optimum weight distribution approaching 50:50. This lightweight structure not only reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, it means that the XE range is able to encompass everything from as low as 106g/km to a maximum speed of up to 250km/h.
TORQUE VECTORING
XE's Torque Vectoring by Braking maximises control through even the tightest corners. Providing controlled independent braking on the individual inside front and rear wheels, the system delivers outstanding sports car-like agility and added driver confidence.
ELECTRIC POWER ASSISTED STEERING
Giving you fine control at speed and comprehensive assistance during slow manoeuvring, XE's next generation Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) offers outstanding feedback and immediate power assistance. And it's only active on demand – saving power for when you really need it, as well as saving fuel.

Pulsing with a heartbeat, XE's Start button creates an emotional connection between you and your car. Its 72 per minute double beat is the same as a jaguar cat at rest. Press the Start button and XE awakes, the needles sweep, the engine growls and the JaguarDrive Control rises to greet your hand.

XE's unique stepped facia gracefully sweeps away from you, providing a feeling of spaciousness.

Our leather is sourced from the finest hide suppliers in the UK and Italy for a natural, glove-soft feel. Twin needle leather stitching not only enhances durability, but is offered in contrasting colours that define XE's luxury interior.

DESIGN DETAILS
Throughout XE, the natural forms of the interior architecture lend themselves to the extensive choice of contemporary or traditional materials and finishes. Satin Chrome air vents punctuate each end of XE's dashboard, nestling into the door casings. Illuminated from behind with XE's ambient interior lighting option, they emphasise both the width of the cabin and the breadth of our attention to detail.

PASSENGER COMFORT
With a length of 4,672mm and a width of 1,850mm (excluding mirrors), XE can comfortably seat three adult passengers in the rear. And with a boot capacity of 455 litres, there's plenty of luggage space too.

INTERIOR STORAGE
An ergonomic layout provides practical storage throughout XE's interior. There's space for sunglasses in the overhead console, a smartphone sized stowage tray in the centre console, a spacious armrest cubby box and additional stowage in each door.
